Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: email address and authentication identifiers only. We do not require HKID, phone, or physical address.
• Search inputs: estate, block, floor, flat, orientation, saleable area, and listing price you enter. Recent searches are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) — never our servers — and capped at five entries.
• Usage counters: aggregate free-search counts tied to your account for historical parity.
• Payment metadata: handled by Stripe; we never receive or store card numbers.

2. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect biometric data, HKID numbers, or third-party contact lists. We do not sell, license, or share personal data with agents, brokers, developers, or advertising networks.

3. Legal Basis & Purpose

Data is processed to deliver the Service you request: authentication, valuation queries, tracking alerts (Premium), and billing. Retention is limited to the period required for these purposes plus statutory retention windows.

4. Security

Data in transit is TLS-encrypted. Database access is protected by row-level security policies and least-privilege service credentials. See our Trust & Security page for the current control set.

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for session authentication and a single Google Analytics tag (G-MN232D90KK) for anonymised traffic measurement. No cross-site advertising trackers are deployed.

6. Your Rights (DPP 6)

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@hkpropertyintel.com. We respond within 40 days as required by the Ordinance.

7. Cross-Border Transfers

Data may be processed on infrastructure located outside Hong Kong (Cloudflare, Supabase, Stripe). All providers are bound by data processing agreements consistent with Cap. 486.
